Everyone knows that for the last four years (2009-2012), Ramzan-Eid holidays have been super-beneficial to Salman at the box office. If he is coming around that time, other stars prefer to steer clear.

Salman Khan to launch bodyguard Shera's son in Bollywood

Superstar Salman Khan, who has given a break to many newcomers in Bollywood, now intends to launch his bodyguard Shera's son in the film world. Salman had launched Shera in films with a song-and-dance sequence in the title track of his film Bodyguard. 
Shera appeared in the song alongside 

the 47-year-old actor and Katrina Kaif. Now gossip mills are abuzz that Salman is likely to launch Shera's son in Bollywood. 

Recently Salman was seen praising Shera's 20-year-old son Tiger. "With his looks and personality we already have a winner. At 20, he is so focused and determined," Salman had said. 

"It is true that he would be launching my son Tiger in Bollywood. It's a great thing. He has said that (launching his son) which means he would have seen something in my son," an excited Shera told PTI. 

On who would be backing the film, Shera said, "Things are in progress." Shera has been by Salman's side for the last 15 years and they share a close bond.

Salman Khan plays godfather to Aditya Panscholi’s son Suraj

 


Mumbai: Salman Khan- the mentor and the godfather is certainly turning into an institution. The 47 year-old actor, who is known for lending a helping hand to aspiring artists, has now taken Aditya Panscholi’s son Suraj under his wings.
Buzz has it that the film will be a remake of Subash Ghai’s 1980s blockbuster ‘Hero’ and will be Salman’s first production.

Talking to DNA, a source said, “Right from his work-outs to his acting skills, he’s busy honing them up as he wants to hit the right note with his very first big screen outing.”

Conforming the news of his son planning to make a debut, Aditya said, “Suraj has Salman’s backing, but I cannot talk about their films or work. It’s best that Salman or the production house make the right announcements and I think they will too in due time.”

So after Shera’s son Tiger, its time for Suraj to shine.

Salman Khan's 'Dabangg 2' teaser released

The much-awaited look of " Dabangg 2" was unveiled on Salman Khan's official Facebook page and the star says this is to cater to new generation which follows movie news on new media.

Salman, whose Facebook profile has got 6.8 million likes, says he will also use traditional medium to promote his movies.

"There is a new generation following movie news on new media, so we launched the campaign on Facebook. We will continue to use traditional media. It's not about one replacing the other. It's one alongside the other," Salman said in a statement.

Directed by Arbaaz Khan, "Dabangg 2" is a sequel to 2010 blockbuster "Dabangg" and also stars Sonakshi Sinha and Deepak Dobriyal. It will hit theatres Dec 21.

The 10-second-teaser, which was unveiled Nov 7, just shows Salman with his trademark shades. While another teaser, which will also be released on Facebook on Nov 10, will give a sneak peak into the movie.
